My little 7yo daughter Amazon just pulled a handfull of hair out of her own head just to prove that she could to the witchlings who are staying tonight (while I and their dad are at rehersals, their mum is on night shift at the moment) Hubby is looking after them.
The thing that amazes me is that we all use hypnotic states at all times, and in children, well, they are just as easy as that, they fall into an altered state easily and naturally.
Amazon supressed the usual feeling of something pulling her haid (and yes, every morning is a trauma when we have to brush it) and actually riped out her hair… the primary gain was strong enough psychologically that she could feel nothing as she was doing this.
And this is why people can have operations under hypnotic anethetic, amazing isn’t it?
I personally gave my husband a week long anesthetic from his teeth hurting as it was going to take that long to get to the dentist.
Command language aside, this is just remarkable and easily available for any one who really wants to apply themselves, they can do anything.
YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!!!
be well

Hi there, I have just had 2 independent beautiful women ask me to help them with assistance for menopause, I take this very seriously so I need to do a lot of research on this topic.
There seems to be some debate over HRT and all theĀ issues surrounding that… one lady is 55 and the other is 39 and has had her ovaries removed by an over zealous Doctor it would appear.
As we work with the parasympathetic system of the body, teaching people to control their comfort and being able to just breathe deeply really makes a difference because that little 2seconds of breath holding, allows the osmosis of co2 moving into the Alveoli and oxygen into the blood stream to happen in the lungs a little more cleanly and allow a much nicer relaxation of the system as a whole because a well oxygenated set of organs runs much nicer and can work things out more regularly.
lots more to cover, stay tuned as I work out a plan to actually help these and other lovely ladies.
Any thoughts?

Many words have been written on Hypnosis in childbirth, I have had a sisterinlaw say that all she really wanted was the drugs and she was horrified that people choose to have natural births with hypnosis.
I wonder just how scared she is about her own body and what it is capable of? What do people get out of telling the scary 22 hour labour stories? well, they get to tell everyone how hard they had it, they get comfort and pity even 20-30+ years later and they get to tell pregnant mothers that labour is not easy… well that depends on your point of view.
The Painrelief from hypnosis is incredible, I have seen clients just comfortably feel a muscle tightening and then letting go for a while and know that they are progressing with every one, feeling them selves opening in the right way for them to release the baby has been a fantastic experience and is beautiful to behold!
I have been a birth attendant in 3 labours now and it is amazing the difference that attitude can make, while we all filter for different things it is never more obvious than in times of heightened emotion, the frightened women in labour and the frightened husbands feeling like they are useless is a thing of the past when you are with a doula.
There is something so calming about a woman who has done it and can guide you through, this was the way it used to be, women would get together and celebrate with each contraction the coming of the baby(ies) and now it is hospitals (a necessary thing, if something does go wrong) Birthing Centres are fantastic and I cannot talk about them enough, being allowed to be you and knowing what you may feel is always more important than having a doctor (someone you see when you are sick) “deliver” the baby takes all the responsibility from the mother and while some people want that, is it a good thing to instill a feeling of not being able to cope from birth?
A thing to think about, what do you think?
