I have just had a really upsetting conversation with a girlfriend, she has recently (well. over a year ago) left her husband and has just found out about a legislation that requires 50% custody to each parent while in a utopian society this seems good, she is well aware that her ex only takes their kids to spite her, they spend all their time in daycare because he is working full time (executive dude) and she is a full time mum. I feel for the kids because they dont really relate to their father anyway and I have heard them say that he ignores them when they are there….. however he is now pushing for 50% custody.
This in mind, apparently this legislation is all about dads rights to not pay maintenance, however, the dads who have enough cash to “fund” this legislation going through are the ones that will have the kids in full time day care or vacation care on the holidays….. is this healthy?
babies taken from their mums…. is this healthy? does that mean that no one will ever be able to breast feed their babies because then dad will be taking them for one week on one week off…. where is the stability? what is this doing to our society?
